What is the chemical composition of the ready-cut shims?
There are various chemical components used in the chemical composition of ready-cut shims listed as below:

• Sulfur, S (0.030)
• Chromium, Cr (18.0 to 20.0)
• Nickel, Ni (8.0-10.5)
Besides these chemical elements, Molybdenum (Mo) and nitrogen are also present in the chemical composition.
Pre-cut shims are also used as spacer tools in various industries. They are used for supporting, adjusting, and leveling purposes too.
Properties of ready-cut shims:
Our metal-ready cut shims have no applications for so many industrial purposes as these shims have better properties. These shims offer high resistance against corrosion and rust. Applications of ready-cut shims:
Ready cut shims are applied in several industries, such as the automotive industry. These shims are inserted under bucket tappets to increase or decrease clearance spaces between two mechanical component parts. Ready cut shims are utilized for welding fixtures in production assembly.
It is also used in the timber industry, as they are inserted between larger timbers for enhancing alignment. Besides these applications, these shims are also used on printed circuit boards to protect the CPU from excessive generated heat.
